The second edition of the event "Verrà Scalza - Festival of poetry of the hills" is scheduled in Castiglione Tinella. The appointment is for Saturday 23 September at 4pm with meeting in the central Piazza XX Settembre; the program includes a walk towards the terrace in the vineyard overlooking the poetry of the literary park "The year between the rows", followed by the tourist harvest of the last row of Moscato grapes and the rapulè, The Sinoira snack will offer participants the Moscato focaccia from the Verderame tavern, cheese with honey and hazelnuts, grape turnip and soma d'aj, crostini and cugnà, then the hazelnut Contessine and the wines from the Castiglionese Moscato wine shop.
Following the trace of the verse in the vineyard "Verrà Scalza" which gives the festival its name, there will be the grape pressing competition, which consists of not losing your balance and remaining in the vat until the grapes are all pressed! And then an emotional moment with the flight of the (biodegradable) balloons: the wishes and verses written on the balloons will be carried by the wind to renew and nourish the poetry of the hills.
The event route is 8 km long on foot, including the return to the starting point which is expected around 8pm. The event location can also be reached with a shuttle service.
Possibility of extending the route up to the Moscato Bench with the addition of a 2 km walk and continuing by minivan to see all 6 poems in the vineyards from the road.
The event with its activities intends to share the beauty of the hills and bring poetry closer, stimulating creativity and inspiration, drawing inspiration from the heritage of the panoramic-literary park "Versi in Vigna" of Castiglione Tinella. The organization is carried out by the Contessa di Castiglione tourist-cultural association, together with the Tourist Office, the Moscato wine shop and the Municipality of Castiglione Tinella.
The cost of participation is 12 euros (7 euros for children up to 12 years old).
