A rich program of tastings, visits and important appointment

"Barbera, il Gusto del Territorio" will welcome the usual numerous public that in four days will have available indeed so many appointments that intend to valorize the territory of Costigliole d’Asti and his product prince, the Barbera d’Asti wine. 200 Barbera wines of over 100 producers, will be able to taste every day up to late evening in the “Cantina dei Vini”, together the Grappa distilled in the Monferrato (glass and tasting: 8 Euro).

From the afternoon of the day of Friday - and then Saturday and Sunday -, the rooms of the castle of Rorà can be visited the photographic show "Scatti d’Autore" and also the producers' bottles; the evening, the theatrical appointment "Era…tempo di vendemmia" to 9 pm in the Parish theater. Among the appointments of Saturday 1 November, to 4 pm in the wine cellar of  ICIF "Dall’Alta Langa al Barbera, a driven tasting on booking of these two wines (+39.0141.966202 - 961661). From 3 pmto 5 pm will be open the Church of St. Gerolamo where the Sacred Art Museum can be visited, at 6 pm, in the town theater, "Se una sera d’autunno uno scrittore e uno chef s’incontrano" with Bruno Gambarotta and Luisa Valazza conducted by Laura Travaini and prepared in collaboration with Writers and Tastes association.

Sunday 2 November is also the Giornata del Tartufo, while the driven tasting to the wine cellar of  ICIF is obviously proposed in the castle, so the tastings in the Cantina dei Vini. At the 10, in the town theater the meeting will be held with  dott. Rocca from the title "Rinascita ecologico-culturale del nostro territorio" to which will be guest Annalisa Conti that will report on the recent Unesco recognition of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato.

Besides these principal appointments, the rich program of the event offers different other proposals as the possibility to Palazzo Serratrice to taste traditional dishes, to taste the gastronomy of the territory in the restaurants of the village (list on the web site www.comune.costigliole.at.it), to visit the castle of Burio with artist Britta Schopf's show or to participate in the second edition of the photographic contest "Facce da Barbera" (info in the web site www.cantinavinicostigliole.it).

Who will arrive in Costigliole d’Asti in the days of this event it will have therefore to disposition a pleasant visit walk that unites the Rorà castle, the Wine cellar of the international school of kitchen ICIF, the Cantina dei Vini, Palazzo Serratrice, the town Theater, the parish Theater, the Church of St. Gerolamo, the castle of Burio, the Restaurants, the Streets and the ancient Suburb of the country.
The event will be closed Monday 3 November with the traditional tastings reserved to operating and refreshing in the Cantina dei Vini from 3 pm to  19 pm.
