Go back to the traditional appointment with "Neive, Vino E...": a great wine tasting of Neive in the frame of the historic center of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, gastronomic excellence of tradition, appointments with art exhibitions and live music high-level artists. Neive producers protagonists for a weekend of tasting and discoveries.

The regional event of the "Neive Vino E..." gastronomy, which came to the 10th edition, will transform Neive on 16, 17 and 18 September in a large open-air wine fair. Historic local wines and local specialties will meet and involve the entire ancient village. "Neive Vino E ..." is the main wine fair in the town of Neive, and during the weekend of 16 and 17 September, the squares of the historic center become tasting tables devoted to the tasting of the main wines produced in the area: Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto , Muscat, Langhe Arneis, Langhe whites and the classic method. Every square will have as a protagonist a wine or a group of wines that will be able to match the Langa dishes prepared by the local restaurants and wine bars. New to this edition will be the closing day of 18 September: in the afternoon, meeting and debate with wine producers who will give their opinion on the future of Barbaresco di Neive and to follow, during the 10 years of Additional Geographical Mention, Alessandro Masnaghetti will present an in-depth study on the 20 MGA in the municipality of Neive explaining its features and peculiarities. At the end of the day and the event is the "Gala dinner for 5 chefs" accompanied by the wines of Neive.

TASTINGS

The Neive wines can be tasted at the tasting banquets in the 3 main squares of the historic center. Piazza Italia will be dedicated to whites and sparkling wines, Piazza Cocito will be a scenery for Barbaresco, Piazza Negro to all red wines and in Via Rocca, near the headquarters of the White Art School, Moscato will be served. Wine producers will be the protagonists of "Neive Vino E ..." and will alternate behind the tasting tables to serve and explain the wines to the public.

TASTING CARD

The entrance to "Neive Vino E ..." is free of charge with the possibility to purchase in the three main halls of the ancient village one or more Card worth 20 Euros entitling to tasting. The Card is made up of no. 10 boxes that will be scratched from time to time according to the value of the glass; each grid box has a value of 2 euros. It will be possible to purchase pre-sales at the Bottega dei 4 Vini (Neive) and Gallo Wine Gallery (La Morra), the Vip Card worth 150 euros, which will entitle you to everything included: unlimited wine tastings on the weekend, attendance at the conference and a place at the Gala dinner of September 18th.

GASTRONOMIC EXCELLENCES

You can combine wine with the main dishes of the Langa tradition, some with some revisions, prepared by the restaurants and the main crafts and commercial activities of the City of Neive. They will attend: Pro Loco of Neive, Neive White Art Institute, Aromatario Restaurant, La Luna nel pozzo restaurant, Da Lele Bar, Porta San Rocco wine bar, La Cinciallegra wine shop, Degusto Restaurant, Borgo Vecchio Restaurant, Cantina del Rondò Restaurant, Pastaia di Langa, Macelleria Ivano, Fiori di Pesco Agriturist, Agricola La Pineta and some other local realities. The prepared gourmets will be: capunet, carpion, peppers and anchovies with green bath, knife flap, tuna veal, Russian salad, grandmother's pasta, gas ravioli, beans and tripe pasta, fritiule and many more sweet and savory delicacies.
