"Barbera, the Taste of the Territory" it is the great annual event through which Costigliole d’Asti makes protagonist the Cantina dei Vini and his characteristic places of Palazzo Serratrice that welcomes appreciated her labels of the so many producers. The event is important, the numbers and the contents show it thousand of attended visitors, over 200 Barbera wine of the best Piedmont (of which 150 coming from the 70 present producers on the town territory) producers, one appreciated selection of grappa of the ancient distilleries proposed through the "Planet Grappa", seminars, fair, proposed tied up to the local gastronomy, shows and the photographic contest "Faces from Barbera."

Reaches the twenty-first edition, the demonstration will have been held since October 31 to November 4. Thursday 31 October, at the 17.30, the official inauguration and contemporarily the opening to the public of the Cantina dei Vini that will be to disposition of the visitors beginning from the hours 11 in the following three days. Two the seminars prepared near the Wine cellar: Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November to her times 16 the meetings "Barbera or Champagne?". During the days of Saturday and Sunday near Palazzo Serratrice the refreshing ones of Costigliole d’Asti also propose a selection of dishes of the territory to accompany the tasting of the wines.

The involvement of the country is total however through the same restaurants that stick to the event (available list on the site town internet www.comune.costigliole.at.it) that will propose some Menu Tasting for the whole period of the demonstration in their places. Besides, Sunday 3 November is anticipated the Tartufo Fair, while to the Castle of the village it is open the photographic show "Costigliole Incontra Milano" from the Friday to the Sunday with schedule 16 -19 and the Sunday also to the morning from the hours 10 to her times 12. The photo will be also protagonist through the contest "Faces from Barbera" that it picks up the releases realized in the days of this event.
