The Municipality of Castiglione Tinella in collaboration with the Contessa di Castiglione tourist-cultural association and the Bottega del vino Moscato, proposes the first edition of the day dedicated to the poetry of our hills, their women and the beauty of the literary park “Versi in Vigna "In" secret rural experience "mode: Moscato grapes have all the sweetness of the world, all the beauty of the women of these hills, drawn by the strength and sensuality, who know little about rest, who advance quickly in the row and dreamy in the dances of every summer: this is what the verses of this poem celebrate, visible along the red and yellow path.

On Sunday 18 September the public will be welcomed with a secret event: a harvest festival open to all those who want to get to know and admire our hills more closely. There will be moments of tradition with photographs in the vineyards of the "La Morandina" farm, up to the Giant Bench of Moscato # 191 ai Manzotti, and along the streets of the historic center, to celebrate the verse by Lorenzo Dulevant who gives the title to the day.

The program includes the "Harvest Festival" in the morning by the Contessa di Castiglione tourist-cultural association and the Bottega del Vino Moscato: at 9.30 the meeting is at the Ninfa di Langa, the raku ceramic work by Manuela Incorvaia on the Brosia hill, SP51 in Castiglione Tinella, near the vineyard (location with QR code) with comfortable and vintage-themed clothing (knee-length jeans, wide shirt, t-shirt and straw or visor hats); at 10 am, description of the phases of the Moscato grape harvest, followed by the harvest of the last rows and the pressing of the “rapulè” grapes.

After the crushing, a 2.3 km walk to the giant bench of Moscato ai Manzotti, near the verse that gives the day its title: there will be the opportunity to take instagrammable photographs to share, as tradition dictates, the joy and the grape harvest festival. Toast by the Moscato wine shop at the giant bench and return to the cars on the same route as the outward journey.

At 12 noon free return by own means to Castiglione Tinella, meeting in Piazza XX Settembre to reach together the most characteristic places of the historic center; here a traditional tasting experience will be offered, which includes: grape turnip, soma d’aj, Contessine with hazelnut and a glass of Moscato wine.

Participation in the event is free. The morning program will be canceled in case of bad weather.
